For the 2008 edition of innovations in Furniture & product design, IIID-Godrej invited designers to design
Classroom furniture for school children.
This award is an initiative to promote better design for furniture / product design in India, for benefit of design profession & recognize importance of design in daily lives, that is, to make good design reach people through mass manufacturing.
